Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant
Job Summary: SAP ABAP Consultant with 2-3 years of experience in the development, customization, and maintenance of SAP systems to meet the organization's business needs. They will work closely with functional teams and end-users to deliver efficient and effective SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and enhancements as required by project specifications. This includes custom development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Integration: Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate SAP applications with other systems (e.g., non-SAP systems) through various methods like RFC, IDoc, BAPI, and web services.
- Data Migration: Design and implement data migration strategies and tools for transferring data between SAP systems or from legacy systems into SAP.
- Enhancement and Support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for existing ABAP programs and interfaces.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for all ABAP developments, technical specifications, and configurations.
- Testing: Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP applications.
- SAP Upgrades: Assist in SAP system upgrades and patches by analysing the impact on custom developments and making necessary adjustments.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of ABAP programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Security: Ensure that SAP developments adhere to security standards and best practices.
- Functional Exposure: Having exposure and understanding of SD, MM, and FICO modules.
- User Training: Provide training and support to end-users and functional teams as needed if required.
